My name is Matt Evavold, and I have been repairing Woodwinds and Brasswinds since becoming certified by Renton Technical College in Band Instrument Repair Technology in 2005. I repaired Band Instruments at Keeney Bros. Music for fifteen years until going out on my own in September of 2020. The shop is located here in my home in Moscow, Idaho.
I truly love making an instrument play to it’s fullest potential. I always strive to give customers options on what repairs they would like to have completed, taking the skill level of the player into consideration, and won’t do any work that hasn’t been pre-approved.
Safety and concern for everyone’s health is my highest priority. I use my own mouthpieces when test-playing, and sanitize the necks/leadpipes with 70% Isopropyl Alcohol. Please refrain from coming to the shop if you or anyone in your family currently have a cold.
